The Old Charity / Voting Box from Unity 1868
Coin was put in the raised slot top left.
Voting balls were place in the front slot and dropped to the drawer below.
The box is made from mild steel plate. There is a drawer for the voting balls on the ballot side and a key hole under the D flap over the word charity. Sadly the key has not been seen for a long time but the box is put on display at every lodge meeting of Liberty Lodge. As can be seen from the decal work this item was given by Bro, Miles Mills on 13th. February 1884.
